A scan that offers to save your contact - name, number, email, company - directly to a phone. No app, no manual typing.
This encodes a standard vCard payload - the same format phones already recognize as "save this contact" - so a scan offers to add someone to contacts directly, with no app to install.
A vCard code works offline and needs nothing from us to keep functioning - but it's fixed once printed. If your number changes, the printed cards are out of date. A dynamic code pointing to a profile page can be updated later, at the cost of needing an active connection to resolve.
Keep the encoded fields concise - more data means a denser code, which is harder to scan reliably on a business-card-sized print. The studio flags when a design choice is pushing your scan reliability down.
